Southend, Essex And Thurrock Learning From Lives And Deaths (LeDeR) Annual Report 2024 2025.
The aim of the Learning from Lives and Deaths (LeDeR) Programme is to reduce the health inequalities faced by adults who have a learning disability and / or autism. The LeDeR programme has changed over time, as initially LeDeR reported on deaths of people with learning disabilities aged 4 and above. This was followed by the inclusion of those with a diagnosis of autism without a learning disability into the programme from January 2022. Then in July 2023 LeDeR changed the age criteria for people with a learning disability and / or autistic people to those 18 and over.
